LEMACK, who answered the Corporate Phone (although why, I  cannot say; she has a voice like an inebriated drag queen and the telephone etiquette of a chihuahua. I also do not know what the fuck else she does), DEMANDING to talk to the Esteemed <snort> Mr. Barry, to be TOLD by said Jo, "he doesn't want to talk to you! He doesn't feel he has to!" or some bogus shit like that, Mr. Barry offered, via Jo to:

Because, after all, there were also people living there, PROSTITUTION and it was run by somebody who was dumber than a rock. YOUR OWN ORKIN GUY said that the amount of treatment contracted for the severity of infestation and SIZE of the space was pretty much useless.

And you approved re-carpeting and painting, probably from your own cheesy Cobalt Construction workers, but were too fucking CHEAP TO CONTRACT A SUFFICIENT EXTERMINATION PACKAGE. LOLOLLLLLLL. Really. BTW-that "guarantee" that Orkin offers is only applicable  when you contract the treatment package they recommend. And, as recent as two weeks ago, there was still mouse shit to be seen all over the floor, from a window! I took a picture!

I don't know, really, what the Canadian dude (JEAN JODOIN) has to do with all of this. Nor do I care. Most Canadians I have dealt with in the past have been kind, upstanding people.Mr. Jodain, however, remains notedly silent and nonchalant. As such, he must also be designated a Rat King and Shithead.

You own a business, you are where the buck stops. CHRIS BARRY is listed as the President on all corporate type documents. AND HAS DONE NOTHING TO ACKNOWLEDGE, RECTIFY OR EVEN ADDRESS, EXCEPT IN AN ASSWIPE LIKE MANNER, this situation.

Thus, Mr. Barry is seemingly not only An Asswipe Shithead and Rat King (or King Rat), he's a COWARD. 

Whatsmore, evidently he and his partner, the (seemingly) elusive JEAN JODAIN are fucking multi multi multi BAZILLIONAIRES, creating trusts and acquiring real property.

Here is the short story as I posted on YELP: (and incidentally, they, too SUCK.)

This company has no business ethics, etiquette, concepts of truthful facts, or regard for its customers.

This place is SATURATED by mice. They permeated my unit, resulting in $1000s in loss along with grief, inane amounts of time, insane exchanges with employees  and having a LIVE litter IN THE BOX CONTAINING DISHES. What is left smells like a zoo.

I am stressed and exhausted and my 13 year old daughter is devastated. I could not have imagined this in my worst nightmare. It is my personal Katrina. And guess what? NO ONE CARES.

I have lost over half of my things due to rodent destruction and the current regional manager +MICHELLE WIGHT (there have been a few) claims she can do no more after buying me some containers and bags and paying for movers FROM one of their units TO another. I am going to have to sue to recover myself and my daughters losses now, a long and expensive process. And they have had the nerve to ask ME to leave, but I would anyway.

They  have claimed at various times they are not responsible for rodent control in their own building and business. Um, not according to city ordinances and case law.

The problem first became evident in MARCH and they then told me the mice were isolated to a particular area of the building and were being addressed "aggressively" (THIS WAS BY THE THEN REGIONAL MANAGER? PART OWNER? VP? WHO KNOWS, have heard it all). Same thing in April, May, June, July, August and September. Numerous mice were IN THE UNIT before during and after the move, which took over a week to organize and several hours.

I spoke with their Orkin tech who said the treatment they had was in no way sufficient for the property's size or level of infestation. They went the cheap route, clearly. BTW, folks, Orkin does what it is paid to do, period.

The site manager, FRED WEAVER (now fired) so admired by a previous poster, is a psycho; rude, unresponsive, lazy, unprofessional and I strongly suspect illiterate. When questioned about the rodent problem for MONTHS, his response is "it gonna take a minute". This is a site manager?

The corporate number is answered, when it IS, by a woman NAMED JO, who is just as bad or worse. The Owners, +CHRIS BARRY AND +JEAN JODOIN seem to think speaking with customers, the schmucks who butter their pretty crusty bread, is beneath them. The only  decent employee is a girl that works there, who these idiots set up and fired, too. She was pleasant and was sympathetic about the matter.   AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This means that hundreds of people know what shits you are are, you nasty rodent infested, pimping dickheads.

In addition, please note that this blog is within the parameters of the law (and ethics), as everything alleged here is documented, photographed or witnessed. EVERYTHING. Some even by your former colleagues, who are not only the few in the organization that are honest, but who got totally screwed by it because they are.  As well as your customers.

Besides, now I am sure THEY know. By the way, your video is discoverable and subject to forensics if need be. See, in this day and age they can tell what's been altered and erased.

So, either do what you can to FIX IT, or shove it up your flabbity ass. I and this blog are going nowhere and are grateful you acknowledged our presence.

Well, maybe.

Look, I am a single mother with a young teen who has experienced a lot of anguish over this and lost over half of the things my daughter and I owned. It effected my mental state, work, relationships and finances. I would have thought Life Storage, so warm and fuzzy in the media would have righted its wrong. They knew for months about the problem, related problems  and, it's a safe bet, all the other things (e.g., a girl turning tricks in their facility, people living there--it was all on video). And did nothing except get attitude and make a nasty retaliatory move, locking me out of my unit (with my purse, keys and money in it!) when I had a zero balance and a perfectly good lease (read up on successor clauses, Andrew Fuller, 'k?).

Their employee laughed when my daughter spotted a mouse and got hysterical. 

Their "manager", who talked like he had shit in his mouth was either a bigger idiot than I have indicated or taking a cut of something (drugs, tail, or cash). HOWEVER, upper management is responsible for lower (and I DO MEAN LOW!-heh) management. The guy who signs the paycheck....

Their business has no governing body.
They know they are far richer than me.
They can afford to take a loss on one property, so they don't really care if it has a bad rep or not and the residents tenants will continue to pay, as they have no where to go.


They have indicated they think it's okay. And that is the worst.

Make this right, gentlemen, and it will all go away. But until then, the campaign continues....
