Yeppers! Nearly One Thousand Dollars. To replace a doll, whose poor hair was used as both a snack and a lavatory. Now, this is one of those collector type AG dolls that are out for a year at a time. She has another and a baby doll one, but this was an annual, her first, and special to her. She was the Cal-surf one  I am the first to admit that this AG deal is kind of cult-ish and it is manufactured kinda cheesy and little girls get zombied out when they're in the store--we certainly spent enough time there although she never matched her outfit and hair style to the dolls or any of that creepy shit. I was glad when The Phase was over, though.

We kept the damaged goods. She got furious at me when I tried to throw it away. I had to retrieve it from the dumpster. My first inclination was to hit Idiot Fred over the head with it, but I wimped out.  I cannot replace it at this time, although I am strangely glad it is available at all. Yes, you can get used ones from both those sources, but I am kind of leery about some other kid's teeth marks and snot.  And she deserves better after losing it in the way she did.  She cried on and off for several days, even trying to hide that from me. Her heart, and consequently mine was broken.

Mostly, it was hers. And she loved it and planned on keeping it forever and giving it to her little girl someday.  Now, she can't.
RIP, Kailey. We love you.....

Her hair WAS ACTUALLY A RAT'S NEST!

Rats, Mice, Rodents? All three?

I seem to be a little lax in differentiating the species, using the terms interchangeably and loosely.

The creatures I (and my offspring and associates) actually saw  I am quite positive were mice.  But, from other accounts, as well as my recollections of the size of the droppings, excrement, feces, turds, or the shit that was all over the fucking place, Life Storage also hosted rats. Of course those that claimed they actually SAW them, most of whom resided there and were at home on site at all hours, also claimed they were the size of German Shepherds, but were probably affected by some substance or another anyway. Thus this must be taken with a grain of salt, but truly, some of that shit was rather large.!

Now, the term RODENT, I understand, can refer to other things like squirrels, rabbits and even technically kangaroos.  I must disclose I saw no evidence at any time of a rabbit or a kangaroo.
