RATS IN LINCOLN PARK....

Are RAMPANT! Having recently spent some time there in the evening, I was astounded--and DISGUSTED.

LifeStorage should feel right at home--or make a home...for them.....

So, this is the problem I'm having....

As is probably clear, I (and my KID, for godssakes!) lost a SHITLOAD of stuff.  Essentials - beds, linens, clothes, a couch, coats, toys (20 + years worth, some valuable, some sentimental, all useful), due to LifeStorage's negligence and irresponsibility in not exterminating its Rogers Park facility for rodents (per their own Orkin Guy - AND THERE IS STILL RODENT SHIT THERE!). Now, this in no way represents millions, or even six figures although I am pretty pissed off and put out, so I'd seek as much as possible in punitive damages (please note this, LifeStorage Troll, and pass it on). But for me, it IS thousands, which represents a lot of money, especially now. 

LifeStorage and /or its principals HAVE OFFERED NOTHING.  NADA.  ZIP!  They in fact refused to admit fault, like big boys, like ethical responsible adults and business owners, yet ran out and bought several MILLION dollars in property VERY recently. To open stores, to increase their business and income, AND they're all touchy feely warm 'n' fuzzy and hip--or AT LEAST THE PR(web) PEEPS THEY PAY to put that bullshit out want you to think they are. Trust me, it is a load of rat crap.

Compounded by the fact that they, in reality, have been unprofessional, rude, snide and flat-assed dishonest. I bitched for months, they said they'd handle it, they fired everybody at the local at the time (like they sign the contracts for the exterminators?), lied about what they were doing and lied about the contents of my unit, trying to pass the blame on me, That African Lady, the residents tenants, the "old" exterminator or ANYBODY ELSE, and let Idiot Fred sit on his ass and sneer (although sometime he snipped my lock and planted--childishly--a banana peel).

Some businesses don't deserve to grow. And they'll lie to you, too, dear reader.

So, these two guys, +Jean Jodoin and +Chris Barry (and their merry band of flunky bullshitters) spend insane amounts of money to make their penises seem bigger and their bank accounts GET bigger, but refuse to right a wrong THEY INFLICTED on a woman and her child OR exterminate THEIR OWN PROPERTY properly to prevent it.

LifeStorage has just purchased what will eventually be its 19^th Chicagoland location infestation. The property, located at 1030 W. North Avenue, is 114,000 square feet, next to some prominent retailers, including Old Navy. Currently leasing space in the building is a gym, but LifeStorage has big plans ahead for the property, obviously including its outstanding self-storage, AND RODENT HAVEN solutions, but also utilizing the space for  office rentals , PRIME NESTING and potential retail leasing as well.
There’s some work ahead, though, with CRAPPY renovations BY COBALT COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION  and improvements on the way, but as you know, LifeStorage makes sure everything is tip-top, hip, and modern FOR UPSCALE RATS AND MICE, and this future facility is no exception to our lax exterminaion. We’ll keep you posted with more details as we have them, but for now, let’s hear it for LifeStorage, great self-storage, and great neighborhoods TO INFEST,  RUINING PEOPLE'S LIVES and INCREASING CHICAGO'S RAT POPULATION!

For Life Storage, this is yet another perfect location to bring its unique, upscale brand of self storage to another Chicagoland neighborhood. Tentative plans for the property include Life Storage solutions, potential office rentals, and retail leasing. It's another step in showcasing one of Chicago's own and the most luxurious climate-controlled, secure, self-storage and record management solutions available in the entire city. Life Storage co-owner Christopher Barry mentions that the project is still in the early stages and will require interior and exterior improvements, so there isn't a set-in-stone date for what will eventually be the 19th store in the Life Storage family.

We've been looking in this area for a while now, and the close proximity to some prominent retailers will offer us some really great exposure.
